CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION

The University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Office of Continuing Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Office of Continuing Medical Education designates this educational activity for a maximum of  17 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s).^TM  Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Program objectives:

1.   To enhance written communication skills of health care providers

2.  To enhance “reflectiveness” among health care providers, as a means to better understand their patients' experiences and better communicate with their patients about these experiences
